My assistant Mike and I spent a chilly afternoon with the Mongraw Family in the Public Gardens downtown Halifax. The temperature hadn’t hit the negatives yet, but the wind was still cold! They were all troopers in the weather, especially little Bella, I was quite impressed.

Thank you Matt and Charlotte for letting me capture your family photos!

An adorable wedding of 20 at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax. I met Cindy and Jessica through another wedding client and I was excited to have shot both couples’ weddings within a couple of months!

Halifax had been having such bad weather during this week, but on the day of their wedding, everything cleared up and it was beautiful outside! We hadn’t planned on heading to the Public Gardens for photos, but with the sun out and the leaves, we had to get a couple of shots. As a fairly new resident to Halifax, I didn’t know that the Gardens were still open at this time of year! They were the first wedding couple that I’ve photographed in there, and I am happy to say that I absolutely love the results.

Fall has the best colours by far! One would think that summer would be the best time to go outside and take pictures, but I disagree. Fall wins, hands down.

Courta and Brian wanted some photos that showed the colours of fall, and we didn’t have to go far! We were able to capture everything right in front of their house. Brian was looking forward to getting a picture of him and his feline friend, Henry, and we were able to get a shot of them on the bench together. No one noticed that there was graffiti on the bench that spelled CAT with a little sketch, and I only noticed when going through the photos on my computer. I love every photo from this session and I am so excited to share it with you.
